Tribes gathered at Quarry View Park in Boise to share stories and remember their ancestors who were forcibly removed by soldiers from the Boise Valley in the late 1800’s when silver and gold was discovered. Quarry View Park, where Castle Rock is located, is a spiritual gathering place for tribal people and many return to offer prayers for ancestors who are buried at the site. By Kyle Green.
