Laugh it up with comedian Doug Stanhope at the Neurolux

  • Doug Stanhope

    9 p.m. June 20, Neurolux, 111 N. 11th St., Boise. $25.

Yeah, he co-hosted the unfortunate final two seasons of "The Man Show," not to mention the so-lovely "Girls Gone Wild: America Uncovered."

Doug Stanhope will be the first to admit that he's made mistakes. Unlike too many of us, he's learned from them.

Stanhope staggered back into comedy clubs, where he belongs. (Except in Boise, where he pretends to be a hipster at Neurolux.)

If you can handle his socio-political, observational act - and not everyone can - you'll learn something about yourself from Stanhope, who isn't afraid to offend. You'll also laugh so hard your molars will hurt.
