It's only been a short time since Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches made its Treasure Valley debut, and keeping with its slogan "Subs so fast you'll freak," the new kid on the block already tops the best sandwich category.

With seven 8-inch sandwiches, 11 giant club sandwiches, and the J.J. Gargantuan presented more like a dare on the franchise menu, Jimmy John's offers a variety of hunger-taming options. For those watching their diet, there are alternatives such as the JJ Unwich, a no-carb lettuce wrap of any of the menu sandwiches served without the bread.

Add to that an aggressive marketing campaign touting its speedy delivery, and it's no wonder Jimmy John's has become a popular sandwich maker with four locations in Boise and two in Meridian. During the lunch hour, Jimmy John's is staffed with a small army of workers who quickly greet you as you enter the shop and wish you well as you leave.

The Jimmy John's menu is easily accessible online, where you can order easily via the Internet or find the nearest location. Or do it the old-fashioned way: Order by phone.
