Rainy weather should clear by Friday

June 13, 2013

Wet weather is reaching the Treasure Valley Thursday morning, with showers and overcast skies.

Rain will continue into the night, when the chance of precipitation jumps to 40 percent.

The day’s high will only reach the mid-70s, and will drop into the 40s at night.

But cloudy skies should be headed away from Boise by Friday, according to the National Weather Service. Friday will be mostly sunny with a high of 76 degrees.

The weekend stands to be even warmer, with a sunny Saturday that reaches into the upper 80s and a hot Sunday predicted to break 90 degrees.
