Nampa High wins NFL-sponsored trip

STATESMAN STAFFJune 12, 2013

Nampa hosted, and won, a 7-on-7 tournament Saturday, and will travel to a regional tournament in Seattle later this month.

The NFL High School Player Development focuses on fundamentals, safety and character development, such as social media awareness and bullying.

Twelve players and two coaches will travel to the Seattle Seahawks' facility in Renton, Wash., on June 22-23, to compete with more than a dozen Northwest teams. The winner advances to the national event in Cleveland in July.
