Treasure Valley to cool by end of the week

June 10, 2013

After a weekend in the 90s, hot weather is expected to hold in Boise for a few more days.

Monday brings a high of 96 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, with a slight chance of thunderstorms Monday night. The next day is also predicted to break 90.

But Boiseans might get a break from the heat in the latter part of the week: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will hover in the low 80s and upper 70s.

Nighttime lows will drop into the 40s and 50s as the week draws to a close.
