BSU football extends its NCAA Academic Progress Rate success

STATESMAN STAFFJune 6, 2013

The Broncos received the NCAA's Public Recognition Award for the third straight year for ranking among the top 10 percent in the Football Bowl Subdivision.

The full APR report with scores will be released Tuesday, but the NCAA tweeted that Boise State finished second behind Northwestern. These numbers are based on a four-year period that ended with the 2011-12 academic year.

APR is a measure of the eligibility and retention of a team's student-athletes.
