Canyon County Pet of the Week: Garth Brooks the Lab

June 4, 2013

Garth Brooks

Garth Brooks, 7, is a big 80-pound Chocolate Lab mix. At 7 years old he qualifies for our Senior for Senior program, if you are 60 years or older we waive all adoption fees.

He has been taught some obedience. Garth was a stray found playing in water on someone else's property, so here he is. He is a big, loving clown, he loves to play ball and roll in the grass.

So Garth is definitely singing "I've got friends in low places" these days, but really soon we hope his "Unanswered Prayers" are answered and he will be adopted.

Garth Brooks is in kennel number 7 in Large Dog Adoptions here at the Canyon County Animal Shelter at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell.

The hours of operation are 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday. For more information on our other adoptable pets, please visit our website at www.canyoncountyshelter.org
