Traffic delayed in Eagle Tuesday for construction

June 3, 2013

Crews will flag traffic through the Idaho 44 and Fisher Park Lane intersection in Eagle Tuesday night.

The signal will be turned off as the Idaho Transportation Department continues work to widen Idaho 44 to four lanes and rebuild the Linder Road intersection.

The light will be back on Wednesday morning, according to ITD.

Drivers will face delays between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. Wednesday, and traffic will be limited to one lane at some points during the night.

ITD officials cautioned motorists to slow down and be mindful of worker safety when approaching construction zones.

The construction project is slated to be completed by fall.
