Wednesday predicted last day of rainy weather

May 29, 2013

— Showers will continue Wednesday in Boise with a 60 percent chance of rain. The area may get thunderstorms as well after 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The rain is expected to continue into the night.

Despite this week’s wet weather, temperatures are still in line with May averages. The high Wednesday will reach 68 degrees, with a low of 42, not far from Boise’s average May 29 temperature of 63 degrees.

Warm weather will be back by the end of the week, with no rain predicted after Wednesday. Sunday’s temperature is slated to reach into the 80s.
