Strong showing for Boise teams at Idaho State Cup

Boise area teams represented in all of the title games at the Idaho State Cup, which wrapped up Monday at the Idaho Falls Soccer Complex.

In all, eight Boise squads brought home championships. Here's a look at the finals by division:

• U-13 boys: Boise Nationals Soccer Club Arsenal earned a commanding 9-0 victory over Sandpoint Strikers FC.

• U-14 boys: In an all-Boise area championship match, Idaho Rush shut out FC Boise 2-0.

• U-15 boys: BNSC Liverpool topped Coeur d'Alene Sting 4-0.

• U-16 boys: FC Nova Super Nova Elite lost to Portneuf Valley Soccer Club Galaxy (Pocatello) 4-2.

• U-17 boys: BNSC Celtic edged Idaho Falls Elite FC 1-0.

• U-13 girls: BNSC Premier took a narrow 1-0 loss to Coeur d'Alene Sting.

• U-14 girls: In an all-Boise area contest, Idaho Rush Nike Blue came out on top against Idaho Torrent White 2-1.

• U-15 girls: BNSC Italia routed Coeur d'Alene Sting Gold 5-0.

• U-16 girls: BNSC Premier won the round-robin style bracket by going 4-0 and outscoring opponents 22-2.

• U-17 girls: In another all-Boise area title game, BNSC Premier defeated Idaho Torrent White 3-0.

The U-18 boys and girls tournaments were held last weekend in Boise. The FC Nova Super Nova girls and BNSC Premier boys won championships to bring the Treasure Valley's title haul to 10.
