Idaho StatesmanMay 28, 2013

It's graduation season, and this is one in a series of capsules on the graduating classes in the Treasure Valley. Details are provided by the school.

PARKVIEW HIGH SCHOOL (NAMPA)

Graduation: 6 p.m., May 29, Columbia High School Auditorium

No. of graduates: 12

Class speaker: Mery Muniz

How the principal sums up the class of 2013: "We are so proud of our seniors at Parkview High School. They have overcome many obstacles and challenges and prioritized their education to continue success for themselves and their families. Our Parkview students were commended by community members for having fantastic senior project presentations this year. The Parkview staff feel the class of 2013 has shown a lot of personal growth, development, responsibility and maturity throughout this year and prior years. They have come a long way since their freshmen years and are becoming citizens of our community that we can be very proud of. Most of our senior class has already joined the workforce, helped in the community, and a few have already begun classes toward their post-secondary education and training. This is a very determined group of young adults. We wish the best of luck to Parkview High's class of 2013!"
