A Boise man was charged with driving under the influence Thursday morning after police found him inside his running vehicle, passed out on the horn.
Levi Robert Curtis, 33, was arrested after a citizen called police about an unconscious man in a car on West Pershing Drive, with the horn blaring.
Curtis appeared extremely intoxicated when officers arrived, police said. He failed several field sobriety tests, and was booked into the Ada County Jail.
He will face a felony DUI charge, police said. He has three previous DUI convictions from 2001, 2004 and 2006.
Curtis could face up to five years in prison if convicted.
