Freeze warning expires, weather warms

A freeze warning for the Treasure Valley expires at 9 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

The agency measured an overnight low of 35 degrees at the Boise airport. Forecasters had advised residents to cover any sensitive vegetation overnight.

Temperatures should rise later Thursday, reaching a high in the mid-60s. Highs in the mid-70s are projected for the Memorial Day weekend.
