Boise man nabbed in meth arrest

May 22, 2013

— An Ada County man was arrested late Monday night after drug dogs found methamphetamine in his car, police said.

Christopher Richard Johnson, 37, had been pulled over for running a red light when the officer noticed that the driver seemed impaired. A K9 unit was brought to the scene, and officers found 5.1 grams of meth and a digital scale with white residue on it.

Johnson was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. He was booked into the Ada County Jail early Tuesday morning.
