Former Boise State LB Smith goes to Cleveland

STATESMAN STAFFMay 22, 2013

Former Boise State linebacker Tommy Smith has agreed to a free-agent contract with the Browns, his agent, KLASS Sports, tweeted Tuesday. Smith was unavailable for comment but he indicated on Twitter, that he was traveling to Cleveland.

The Browns announced a handful of roster moves Tuesday, but not Smith's signing. Smith participated in the Browns' rookie minicamp on a tryout. He finished third at Boise State with 61 tackles last season.
