Dr. Eric Forseth, who has served as superintendent of Nampa Christian Schools since 2009, was appointed provost at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, officials said Monday.

“I am excited to accept this opportunity to continue my service in Christian higher education,” Forseth said. “My wife, Kim, and I have wholeheartedly loved serving in the Treasure Valley educational community for more than two decades. We thank God for the privilege of serving the families of this incredible community. It has been such a rewarding experience to partner with families and churches in the valley to prepare students to impact the world by serving capably in their chosen professions.”

During his tenure, Forseth has led the private Christian school to seize an increase in student enrollment, the establishment of the Nampa Christian Schools Foundation and various construction projects including the recent targeted completion of interscholastic fields this June.

The search process for Forseth’s replacement will be discussed by the board at the upcoming scheduled board meetings.
