Cooler temps coming Wednesday

May 20, 2013

— Boise will cool down toward the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday and Tuesday are slated to be warm and sunny, with highs of 78 degrees Monday and 89 degrees Tuesday. But temperatures are predicted to drop later in the week, with highs in the low 60s both Wednesday and Thursday.

Thursday night and Friday bring a chance of thunderstorms, as highs rise to the upper 60s.

Showers are expected to clear up by the weekend, which will see sunshine and temperatures near 80 degrees.
