Meridian soldier laid to rest Monday

Flags in Boise flew at half-staff Monday as a Meridian soldier killed in Afghanistan iwas laid to rest, according to the Boise Police Department.

Spc. Thomas Paige Murach was buried at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise. He was killed May 4 when his vehicle was hit by a roadside explosive in Maiwand, Afghanistan.

Four other U.S. soldiers were also killed in the attack.
