Fight with brass knuckles leads to felony charge for Boise teen

May 17, 2013

A Boise teenager was arrested on a felony aggravated battery warrant Thursday, almost two months after police say he beat a person with brass knuckles.

Jordan Shields, 18, assaulted the victim in a parking garage on March 22, Boise police allege. Shields and the victim knew each other.

The victim suffered cuts that required stitches from the brass knuckles.

Shields was booked into the Ada County Jail Thursday afternoon. If convicted of aggravated battery, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
