Smoky Mountain Pizzeria president named Idaho Small Business Person of the Year

Dan Todd, president of Smoky Mountain Pizzeria Grill, has been named the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2013 Idaho Small Business Person of the Year.

Susan Holm, vice president of U.S. Bank, Meridian, nominated Todd for the honor , citing his “ethics in each and every business dealing as well as his concern for his customers and employees, were evident in every decision he made."

The Todd family opened their first restaurant in 1992 near Sun Valley Ski Resort in Ketchum and in 1995 opened a second restaurant in Eagle. Triple T Enterprises, with Dan Todd as president and CEO, has grown to include nine restaurants in Idaho and Utah with a total of about 260 employees.

In 2001, Dan Todd became the president and CEO of Triple T Enterprises and the company has grown to include restaurants throughout Idaho and Utah with 260 employees.

Todd was honored this week during the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce awards luncheon, and the National Small Business Person of the Year will be named in June.
