• College plans: Committed to Utah baseball.

• Draft prospects: No. 51 overall high school prospect, according to Baseball America. ESPN rankings released May 14 rank Smith as the No. 61 overall prospect.

• Senior stats at Rocky Mountain: .421 batting, .926 slugging, .582 on-base percentage, 35 RBIs, 6 home runs, 6 doubles, 1 triple, 14 stolen bases, 16 walks and 8 HBP.

• Next game: vs. Highland, 10 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Stadium in the first round of the 5A state tournament.
