Revamped Nampa McDonald’s sets reopening celebration for May 20

May 15, 2013

The Nampa McDonald’s at 1108 12th Ave. Road will host a daylong reopening celebration Monday with specials including two McMuffin sandwiches for $3 at breakfast and free samples of smoothies and frappes while supplies last.

Other specials will include 69-cent hamburgers and 79-cent hamburgers, with a limit of 10 per person. A ribbon-cutting is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., and Ronald McDonald appearances are planned from 10 a.m. to noon and 5 to 7 p.m.

“When we renovate our stores, we … add contemporary touches that give customers a more inviting dining experience, as well as add convenience and function.” said owner/operator Rick Darmody.

The 12th Avenue Road site, one of 30 Treasure Valley McDonald’s restaurants run by Darmody Enterprises, has been updated to feature a new Playplace, new furniture and new menu boards in a double-lane drive-through.
