70-year-old’s threatening note leads to felony charge

— A Boise woman faces a felony after police say she left a threatening note for a witness in her upcoming trial.

Aurelia Coco Pescaru, 70, is a suspect in an ongoing criminal case involving a misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor trespass charge, police said. The victim is a witness in the case.

Pescaru allegedly left the threatening note at the victim’s workplace Tuesday.

She was booked into the Ada County Jail and charged with intimidation of a state’s witness, a felony.
