Woman accused of pulling knife during fight

May 15, 2013

A 25-year-old Boise woman was arrested Tuesday night after brandishing a knife during a fight, according to the Boise Police Department.

Vicky Ann Gonzalez pulled the knife during an argument in front of the Civic Plaza apartment building on Front Street, police said. Witnesses said she held the knife to a man’s throat, and struck another man before police arrived.

Police said that neither of the victims were injured, and cited alcohol as a factor in the fight.

Gonzalez was allegedly attempting to flee when officers arrived, but was apprehended and booked into the Ada County Jail.

She is charged with felony aggravated battery and misdemeanor battery. If convicted, she would face up to a year in jail on the battery charge and up to 15 years in prison for aggravated battery.
