Yanke Machine Shop seeks air quality permit

May 13, 2013

Yanke Machine Shop of Boise has requested an air quality permit to construct from the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality.

Yanke is located at 4414 Gekeler Lane and provides metal fabrication and industrial machining services to the mining, agricultural, food processing and power industries.

Yanke does not currently have the permit for it's current operation. The permit will make sure that Yanke's current operation meets all air quality standards to protect public health. The Department will review the operations and conduct analysis to ensure that the facility meets all standards.

The Department is accepting public comments on Yanke's permit request. Written comments can be emailed to Tessa Stevens of the Department's Air Quality Division at tessa.stevens@deq.idaho.gov. Written comments can be mailed or delivered to the Department at 1410 N. Hilton St. in Boise, ID, 83706.
