College of Idaho track and field team wins league title


Hillary Holt won the 800-meter race and the 1,500, and anchored the 4x400 relay team to another victory as the College of Idaho women won the Cascade Conference title.

The Coyotes women finished with 210.50 points, 65 points ahead of second-place Eastern Oregon, and the C of I men finished in fifth place.

The Coyotes' Austin Basterecchea was voted the co-field athlete of the meet after winning the long jump (22-11) Friday.

The College of Idaho's Pat McCurry was named the women's coach of the year.
