Traffic stop leads to drug arrest for Boise driver

May 10, 2013

An illegal turn led to more than a traffic ticket for a Boise man Thursday night.

Police stopped Stuart James Milstead, 21, for an illegal maneuver near Amber and Bond Streets. They then noticed bottles of prescription drugs in his car, according to a press release.

Milstead admitted that he had illegal drugs in the car, police said. A search of the vehicle turned up marijuana, a pipe and three bottles of prescription medication that did not belong to Milstead.

The suspect was booked into the Ada County Jail early Friday morning on two felony counts and two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
