Who thought New Jersey band Yo La Tengo would last this long - and keep growing musically the entire time?

Formed by husband and wife Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley in 1984, the quintessential indie act has rocked and dream-popped through a string of critically acclaimed albums.

They've done it their own way, as their bio rightfully proclaims, "playing the world's best concert halls, museums and dives, dominating critics' lists, doing a 'Simpsons' theme ... sharing stages with some of the most important musicians of our time."
