May 9, 2013

A Boise man faces a felony charge for his role in a fight at a house party in February.

Jonathon Leeland Whitlow, 21, allegedly beat another man severely after an argument broke out at a gathering in a Seneca Drive home Feb. 3.

The victim suffered injuries including a possibly broken eye socket and severe cuts to the head, according to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators allege that Whitlow punched the other man several times in the face during the argument.

A warrant was issued for Whitlow April 9. He was arrested in Baker City, Ore., in late April.

Whitlow is being charged with felony aggravated assault. He was booked into the Ada County Jail early Thursday morning, and will make an initial court appearance Thursday afternoon.

He faces up to 15 years in prison.
