An allegedly intoxicated motorcycle rider was arrested on a felony DUI Wednesday evening.
Witnesses called police after allegedly seeing Kelly Jon Baker, 54, swerving as he rode near Franklin Road and Curtis Street.
The Boise man pulled into a parking lot and fell over with his motorcycle on top of him, Boise police said.
Passersby helped Baker get out from beneath the motorcycle as police arrived. He appeared very intoxicated, according to a Boise Police Department press release, and failed several field sobriety tests.
Baker, who has been convicted of DUIs in 1998 and 2009, had a .29/.29 blood alcohol content when tested at the Ada County Jail. He was arrested and booked into the jail.
If convicted of a third DUI offense, Baker will lose his license for between one and five years and face between 30 days and 5 years in jail.
