Overnight construction in Eagle will cause traffic delays

May 8, 2013

A traffic signal at the intersection of Idaho Highway 44 and Park Lane will be turned off Thursday night as part of a continuing highway construction project, according to the Idaho Transportation Department.

Flaggers will direct traffic through the intersection from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m Friday. Vehicles will be restricted to one lane at some points in the night.

Crews will be working as part of the effort to expand the Linder Road and Idaho 44 intersection and widen Idaho 44 to five lanes. Construction is slated to finish by fall.

Drivers can expect delays in the construction zone, and are advised to allot extra travel time or find an alternate route.

The ITD asked motorists to drive cautiously and pay attention as they near construction and road crews.
