Northwest Nazarene hires Illinois State assistant as women's basketball coach

Ryan Bragdon has spent the past two seasons at Illinois State, where he helped lead the team to two second-round appearances in the Women's National Invitational Tournament.

In 2012, Bragdon was named one of CollegeInsider.com's "Top 25 Mid-Major Women's College Basketball Assistants.''

Prior to Illinois State, Bragdon spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Ohio University and seven years at Western Michigan.

The Spokane native and Washington graduate worked with the Huskies women's program during his time as an undergraduate.

In 2000, he spent a year working with the Seattle Storm of the WNBA.
