News of note about your friends and neighbors in the Treasure Valley

Army Spec. James D. Miller, Army Reserve Pvt. Anthony J. Colwell Jr., and Army National Guard Pvt. Megan N. Wright have graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Miller is the son of Jeanette Wymore and Daniel Davila, both of Nampa. He is a 2008 graduate of Skyview High School, Nampa, and received a bachelor's degree in 2012 from the University of Idaho, Moscow.

Colwell is the son of Cherie Minjares, of Nampa. He is a 2012 graduate of Columbia High School, Nampa.

Wright is the daughter of Annette Bigelow and stepdaughter of Michael Bigelow, both of Mountain Home. She is a 2011 graduate of Mountain Home High School.

Air Force Airman Gregory J. Stocssel, Air Force Airman Collin R. Terry, Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Jesse D. Van Patten, Air Force Airman Brianna P. Wilson, and Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Natalya S. Brechlin have graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Stocssel is the son of Greg Stocssel, of Boise, and grandson of Barbro Bloom, of Cooper City, Fla. He is a 2011 graduate of Capital High School, Boise.

Terry is the son of Daron Terry, of Nampa. He is a 2011 graduate of Skyview High School, Nampa.

Van Patten earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Susan Van Patten of Boise. He is a 2001 graduate of Centennial High School, Boise.

Wilson earned distinction as an honor graduate. She is the daughter of Leslie Fridley and stepdaughter of Nathan Fridley, both of Meridian. She is a 2012 graduate of Rocky Mountain High School, Meridian.

Brechlin is the daughter of Patricia Brechlin, of Boise. She is a 2009 graduate of Tri County High School, Plainfield, Wis.
