Stand Up America founder to address Canyon business people Thursday

Derrick Boles, founder of Stand Up America, will speak to Canyon County business people Thursday during the Canyon County Employer Association meeting at the Idaho Department of Labor’s Caldwell office.

Boles will discuss “Overcoming Obstacles/Challenges in the Workplace” at the meeting, set to begin at 11:30 a.m. at 4514 Thomas Jefferson St. The session, which includes lunch, costs $14.

Proceeds from the session go toward scholarships for local high school students. This year’s recipients will be announced at the meeting.
