The Boise Philharmonic will wrap up its 51st season this weekend with Rachmaninoff's epic Symphony No. 2 and a performance by young violin sensation Jennifer Frautschi of Korngold's Violin Concerto No. 2.

Frautschi is a rising American star known for fresh, smart interpretations of 20th-century pieces and classical war horses.

The night will be topped off with Rachmaninoff's luscious and memorable themes in one of this composer's best symphonic works.
