Eagle Road railroad crossing construction to impede traffic Sunday, Monday

May 2, 2013

Traffic on Eagle Road between Franklin and Pine will be restricted to one lane in each direction Sunday and Monday as crews continue to repair the railroad crossing.

Construction will begin at 6 a.m. Sunday and continue until early evening. On Monday, traffic restrictions will take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Crews will be working to replace concrete panels and ties at the crossing, as well as the asphalt, which has been damaged by loose planking and vehicle travel according to the Idaho Transportation Department.
