Idaho Fish and Game is stocking a whopping amount of trout in May

The agency's McCall and Nampa hatcheries will be releasing 173,000 catchable-sized rainbow trout at the following locations during late April and May:

Boise River (above Glenwood Bridge) - May 6, 1,500; May 20, 800.

Boise River (below Glenwood Bridge) - May 6, 1,300; May 20, 200.

Browns Pond (McCall) -May 6, 450.

Caldwell Pond No. 2 - May 6, 450.

Caldwell Pond No. 3 - May 6, 250.

Cascade Reservoir - May 20, 70,000.

Corral Creek Reservoir (near Cascade) - May 20, 4,000.

Crooked River (near Idaho City) - May 20, 1,000.

Duff Lane Pond (Middleton) - May 20, 250.

East Mountain Reservoir (near Cascade) - May 13, 500.

Eagle Island Park Pond - May 20, 450.

Eds Pond (Emmett) -- May 13, 200.

Fischer Pond (Cascade) - May 6, 500.

Fish Lake (near McCall) - May 20, 2,000.

The agency says the number of trout released may be altered by weather or water conditions. If delays occur, trout will be stocked when conditions are favorable.
