Statesman staffApril 30, 2013

The Boise State men's tennis team will open the NCAA Tournament against Clemson on May 10 in Knoxville, Tenn.

The Broncos (20-9) earned an automatic berth by winning the Mountain West title. The Tigers (18-7) received an at-large bid.

Boise State is making its 16th NCAA appearance and eighth in the last nine years. The Broncos lost to South Carolina in the first round last year.

The Broncos would face the winner between No. 7 Tennessee and South Carolina State if they advance. That match would be played May 11.
