MULTIFAMILY DEVELOPMENTS AND NEW IDAHO HUMANE SOCIETY COMPLEX

Dillon Ltd. Partnership-Dennis Dillon Auto Park appeal of the planning director's denial of two wall signs with 1,067 square feet of background area oriented to the interstate. The property is located at 2713 S. Hilton St. in a C-4D (planned commercial with design review) zone.

Connell Development Co. seeks conditional-use and hillside development permits for modifications to a previously approved residential planned development at 2161 W. Winter Camp Drive in an A-1 (open land) zone. Changes to the road layout, grading, phasing and project completion date are included.

Doug Tamura seeks a rezone of 0.4 acres from R-1A (single family residential-2.1 DU/acre to R-3D (multifamily residential-43.5 DU/acre with design review). The site is at 8880 W. Overland Road in a proposed R-3D (multi-family residential-43.5 DU/acre with design review) zone. Tamura also seeks a conditional-use permit for a six-unit planned residential development comprising one duplex and a fourplex.

The Architects Office PLLC seeks a variance to reduce the street-side setback from 20 feet to 9› feet for a parking lot at 314 S. Vista Ave. in a C-2D (general commercial with design review) zone.

NLA Acquations LLC seeks a conditional-use permit for a coffee shop with drive-through window. The application includes a variance from the drive-through window setbacks and buffering requirements and the side-yard building setbacks. The 0.2-acre site is at 124 S. Broadway Ave. in a C-1D (neighborhood commercial with design review) zone.

The Idaho Humane Society seeks annexation of 9.7 acres with a zoning designation of C-2D (general commercial with design review). The society seeks a conditional-use permit for the phased development of an animal shelter and veterinary hospital complex. The project will include a school, grooming and boarding facilities, student housing, offices, retail and storage components. The first phase will include a veterinary hospital, animal shelter, student housing, retail store, education center, event pavilion and dog park. The site is at 8506 W. Overland Road in a proposed C-2D (general commercial with design review) zone.

Glen Sloan seeks a modification of a previously approved 50-unit planned residential development on 24 acres at 11951 W. Hollandale Drive. The proposal is to remove the public street connection of Hiawatha Drive across Eight Mile Creek. In a related request, Peppermill Estates Subdivision seeks preliminary subdivision plat for detached single-family dwellings with 50 buildable lots and nine common lots. The property at 11951 W. Hollandale Drive is zoned R-1B on 24 acres, located on the south side of West Hollandale Drive, 570 feet east of South Cloverdale Road.

Carly Jane Place Subdivision seeks a preliminary subdivision plat for detached single-family dwellings with five buildable lots and a common driveway. The property at 2572 N. Christine St. is zoned R-1C on 0.7 acres on the northeast corner of North Christine Street and West Cory Court, 470 feet north of West Northview Street.
