Boise High tennis team wins Capital Invitational

Behind wins from Bianca Mok at No. 1 girls singles and the boys doubles pair of Jace Parker and John Lyons, the Braves claimed the coed championship Saturday. Boise finished with 247 points to edge Idaho Falls by seven points. Wenatchee, Wash., was third with 221, Eagle fourth with 209 and Parma fifth with 208.

NATIONAL MARKS SET AT YMCA INVITE: The Rocky Mountain boys medley team of Jacob Seward, Levi Hagen, Josh Wallin and Jordon Wallin won in a time of 3 minutes, 26.65 seconds, which ranks first in the nation this season, according to athletic.net. Jordon Wallin ran the boys 800 meters in 1:52.16, sixth in the nation and first among juniors.
