Morning of Reflection with the Blessed Virgin Mary: 9 a.m., St. Mark's Catholic Church, 7960 Northview, Boise. Father Steve Rukavina will share his Medjugorie story. Participants will be invited to share how Mary has touched their lives. Praying of the Most Holy Rosary.

Bible Students of Boise 44th Annual Convention: 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today and Sunday, Owyhee Plaza Hotel, 12th and Main streets, Boise. Meetings with feature speakers from the West, New Jersey and Florida. Information: Allan Allers at 375-6873.

April Tea for Women and Girls: 3 to 5 p.m., Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, 828 W. Cherry Lane, Meridian. In the gym behind the church, the event features scones, sandwiches, petit cakes, tea, beverages and a raffle. Adults $10, children up to age 12, $5. Information: 888-4342.

Theology of the Body for Parents and Teachers of Middle School Age Youth: 1:30 to 3 p.m., St. Mark's Parish School, 7503 Northview, Boise. Also May 7. Information: 375-6651.

May 2

First Thursday: 6:30-8:30 p.m., St. Michael's Episcopal Cathedral, 8th and State streets, Boise. The Cathedral will be open during Boise's First Thursday events. The Cathedral Choir will be in rehearsal and local Boise artist Rena Vandewater's Station of the Cross will be displayed. Refreshments will be served.
