Device found at Middleton High not explosive

April 26, 2013

At around 4:45 p.m. Friday, Canyon County spokesman Joe Decker said the all-clear was given at Middleton High School after a suspicious device was discovered under the bleachers near the football field.

It remained unclear, however, what exactly was found.

The Nampa Bomb Squad was brought in to help examine the device. The report was called in at about 1:30 p.m.

The parking lot was opened back up, Decker said.
