• Learn more about William Morris' and Alexis Rockman's glass and painting exhibit "The Art of Nature" with a discussion by artists, ecologists, musicians and geologists about the intersection of art and the environment. It's at 5:30 p.m. at the Boise Art Museum, 610 Julia Davis Drive. The museum offers admission by donation from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• Check in on the progress of the current Artist in Residence Fellows at the Northrup Building and Renewal Underground in BoDo, and the Wells Fargo Center on Main Street. Learn more at BoiseArtsAndHistory.org.

• See the latest work of Canadian jewelry artist Anne Sportun at R. Grey Jewelry Gallery, 415 S. 8th St. She uses colorful gemstones, gold and diamonds in elegant ways.

• Discover painter Geoffrey Krueger's "Daily Dose of Painting," pictured, the artist's practice of creating one small work of art each day, at Van Dyke Frame Design, 733 W. Broad St.
