Traffic alert: Crash that caused delays on I-84 westbound is now cleared

April 23, 2013

A vehicle crashed into a highway median on westbound Interstate 84 Tuesday afternoon, snarling commuter traffic, according to dispatchers. Traffic was back to normal, dispatchers said at 6:20 p.m.

The crash happened after 5 p.m., and three westbound lanes were blocked. Vehicles on the highway were being diverted off the highway at Ten Mile Road, an Ada County Dispatcher said.

No information on how many vehicles were involved in the crash, and if anyone was injured, was immediately available, according to Idaho State Police. A press release on the incident is forth-coming, she said.
