Sesqui-Shop to host series of 'pop-up' shops

Series of “pop-up” shops to hit Sesqui-Shop.

A new flavor-of-the-day look is coming to the Sesqui-Shop in Downtown Boise. Starting Thursday, May 2, a series of local non-profits and community groups will “pop up” in the shop for one day. Located at 1008 Main St., the Sesqui-Shop is Boise’s celebration of its 150-year anniversary.

The shop has featured monthly exhibits, free lectures and workshops and other activities since opening in December.

Here’s a list of the pop-up shops making appearances in the coming month:

May 2 – Non-Profit Center of Idaho

May 3 – Artisans 4 Hope

May 4 – Boise State University Collece of Social Sciences & Public Affairs

May 7 – Valley Regional Transit

May 8 – Boise Bike Project

May 9 – Ballet Idaho

May 10 – Boise WaterShed

May 11 – Create Common Good

May 14 and 15 – Boise Basin Quilters Guild

May 16 – The Antiquers

May 17 – Columbian Club of Boise

May 18 – Tour of Boise

May 21 – Idaho Wine Commission

May 22 – 55 Productions

May 23 – Idaho Rivers United

May 24 – Consulate of Mexico in Boise

May 25 – Idaho Humane Society

May 28 – City Club

May 29 – Wyakin Warrior Foundation

May 30 – Junior League.
