Idaho Power offers community grants

Idaho Power has launched a campaign it calls Partnering for Economic Development, awarding grants to qualifying organizations working to improve the economic well-being of their communities.

The grants come under two programs. The first underwrites application and accreditation fees for organizations seeking certification as accredited economic development organizations. Grants also are available for individual professional-development training and to offset certification fees.

The second program awards grants for marketing campaigns and prospect development. This could include website development and redesign, strategic prospecting research or management, and marketing campaigns that promote targeted industry or the region generally.
