Canyon County Pet of the Week: Peanut Butter the terrior mix

April 23, 2013

Peanut Butter, 1-1/2, was found with Jelly (possibly his sister), who has since been adopted. The Pit Bull Terrier mix is a handsome fellow with a playful personality and is easy to handle.

Peanut Butter enjoys running and chasing after balls, although he hasn't quite mastered bringing the ball back yet. He seems to be dog-friendly but has yet to be tested with cats, since he came in as a stray. This guy has kind eyes and a happy-go-lucky demeanor. He would make a great family pet and loyal companion. Peanut Butter is neutered, current on all vaccines and microchipped.

Peanut Butter is in kennel 3 in Large Dog Adoptions at the Canyon County Animal Shelter at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday.
