Ada County seeks information in vehicle burglaries

April 22, 2013

The Ada County Sheriff's Office is investigating a series of car burglaries Saturday night in the neighborhood between Hill Road Parkway and State Street.

According to the sheriff's office, at least six cars on West Shields Avenue, North Roy Lane, North Arnold Road and North Dodgin Avenue all had items taken from them between 8 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.

Items stolen included Garmin GPS devices, CDs, car stereo equipment and a wallet.

Anyone with information on the thefts should call dispatchers at 377-6790.

The sheriff's office advises residents to keep cars and trucks locked at all times to prevent burglaries.
