Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State softball wins on walk-off home run

Tara Glover's two-out, two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning Sunday gave the Broncos a 5-3 victory over San Diego State at Dona Larsen Park. The walk-off homer was the second in as many days for BSU (19-23, 3-6 MW), which took the series from the Mountain West-leading Aztecs (28-16, 6-3).

BSU WOMEN'S TENNIS: The Broncos (13-8, 4-4 MW) lost to Nevada 4-3 in their regular-season finale at Appleton Tennis Center.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO SOFTBALL: Alexis Macias had five hits and four RBIs, and Nickayla Skinner tossed two complete games as the Coyotes swept a doubleheader from Concordia 7-3 and 4-3 in Caldwell. The C of I (31-21, 17-11 CCC) clinched the No. 4 seed in the Cascade Conference Tournament - its first postseason berth since 2009.

C OF I BASEBALL: Menlo College defeated the Coyotes 10-4 and 7-6 in Atherton, Calif.
